EnRoute Pinot Noir Russian River Valley

About Us: EnRoute Winery

Our Passion For Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir, “Les Pommiers”

Established in 2007 by the partners of Napa Valley’s Far Niente winery, EnRoute is the culmination of a more than 30-year passion for Pinot. Our journey convinced us that the best opportunity to consistently and successfully create the focused, textured, yet graceful, Pinot Noir wines we treasure is in the Russian River Valley. We have made a serious and deep commitment to the region, establishing vineyards and a winery devoted to capturing the magical essence of Pinot Noir.

Single-Vineyard Pinot Noirs

In our search for vineyards to comprise our “Les Pommiers” blend, we’ve come across a few individual lots that stand out for their particular character; some vineyards produce intensely structured wines with bold aromas, while others are more delicate with silkier tannins, and subtle fruit and earth notes. We debuted our EnRoute Single-Vineyard Pinot Noirs with the 2013 vintage, featuring wines from our Amber Ridge and Northern Spy Vineyards. Our single-vineyard program showcases the pedigree of each site, ultimately underscoring the greatness of our EnRoute Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley, “Les Pommiers” blend.

“We have made a serious and deep commitment to the region, acquiring remarkable vineyards and establishing EnRoute, devoted to Russian River Pinot Noir.”

Chardonnay, “Brumaire”

In 2013, we expanded our portfolio to include EnRoute Chardonnay, Russian River Valley, “Brumaire,” which is named for the morning fog that famously envelops the Russian River Valley. Our Chardonnay blend is grown from carefully vineyards planted on Goldridge sandy loam, which lends itself to producing vines that facilitate the concentration of flavors we desire. “Brumaire” showcases the region’s vibrant, bright citrus and mineral notes, and the textures that are the trademarks of the region’s best Chardonnays.
