Acquisitions of some of the appellation’s most pedigreed vineyards have resulted in Pinot Noirs that set the gold standard for the region, these iconic vineyard sites, culminate in wines that are pure expressions of both varietal and terroir.
Located on rolling terrain in the upper Middle Reach area of the Russian River Valley. Planted with bilateral vertical trellising, the clonal mix includes Pommard 5, Calera and Dijon clones 115, 667 and 777 using 101-14 rootstock to limit vigor.
Sitting high atop a hill overlooking the Russian River Valley, the vineyard is often shrouded in fog until midday. The Goldridge soils and coastal proximity create vines that are balanced, need minimal if any water during the growing season, grow and mature evenly, and ripen without seeing temperatures above 88 degrees.
Located in Russian River Valley’s Green Valley AVA was an abandoned apple orchard that was groomed specifically for EnRoute. We are thrilled with the quality of the fruit coming from this site, which grows on the region’s famous Goldridge soils.
Playing an important role to the Les Pommiers blend, its hillside fruit planted in Green Valley features Dijon clones 114, 115 and Pommard 5.
Located off of Westside Road in the Middle Reach area of Russian River Valley, Bucher Vineyard Pinot Noir is planted upon well-drained Arbuckle gravely loam soil using clones 777, 115, 37 and Pommard 4.
