With our debut EnRoute Rosé, “Facile à Boire,” we sought out to celebrate everything we love about Russian River Valley winemaking. We took great care in selecting the perfect Pinot Noir wine grapes from across our vineyards to create a fruit-forward, delightful Rosé that is true to its name: easy to drink.
The nose charms with gentle floral aromas and a whisper of cherry blossom, beautifully complementing a palate overflowing with wild strawberry and just-picked cherry notes. A touch of bright acidity gives way to a distinctive minerality that lingers on the finish, creating a Rosé that is equally sophisticated as it is refreshing.
Hand-selected lots from across the Russian River Valley, as far north as our Amber Ridge Vineyard in the Upper Middle Reach and as far south as Green Valley’s cooler Northern Spy and Marty’s vineyards, come together in this Rosé of Pinot Noir.
A long, moderate summer and fall allowed for exceptional consistency in ripening to give character to our debut vintage. Such a temperate season allowed for thoughtful precision with the harvest so that each block could ripen on the vine to pick-perfect maturity.
